The potion of trickery gives the player a 15% chance to receive the sell price of gathered items (on top of the item). This potion lasts for 10 minutes (12.5 minutes with 
Potioneering; 13.75 minutes with both Potioneering and 
Responsible drinking). The potion of trickery does not yield gold from extra items received via 
Guardian's mallet (planks) or 
Guardian's lamp (coal) while gathering.
This potion only works with items received from Gathering skills such as:
