Gilded token can be purchased in the Shop or Player Market and is tradeable.
Gilded is a rank that contains cosmetic benefits to your character and is aimed at people who want to go the extra mile to support the games development - and look good doing so!
Gilded does not and will not offer any gameplay benefits

The Golden crown icon displayed next to your name in game.
Ability to buy cosmetic scrolls from the Local Market. These are untradeable.
