From Idle Clans wiki
Clan events, clan bulletin board & more
Updates
- The first clan event has been added! It focuses on gathering skills and plays out exactly how minigames used to. Each clan member can complete the event 4 times per day and the events by default have a 1 hour cooldown. More on that later. You can run the event alone or together with up to all of your clan members. Doing it in large groups is incentivized by providing a 2% experience boost to the experience you receive from the event for every participating clan member.
- There are 4 different possible events, one for each gathering skill: Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing and Foraging. The event you get is randomized every time you start an event.
- The higher your level and boosts from your equipment for the selected skill, the more points you receive. The more points you receive, the more loot and experience you receive from the event.
- The event rewards come with some new unique items: skilling outfits for every gathering skill! Each piece of the outfits give a 2% speed boost to your skilling, similarly to tools and enchantments.
- 2 new related clan upgrades have added: one that raises the max daily completions of the event from 4 to 6 and one that removes the event cooldown
- A bulletin board has been added to help improve clan communication
- The clan leader and deputy leaders are able to post announcements for the clan to see
- The clan leader and deputy leaders are able to set up a button to link to their Discord channels to more easily get members involved in their communities
Changes
- Previously, when starting a new skilling task the game would assume that the request went through and the progress bar would start filling up. In rare cases, the request would fail to complete on the server leaving you in a state where it looks like the task is running when it reality it wasn't. This could lead to disappointing situations where you quickly start a task and log out, rightly expecting to later return to offline gains but later find out the task hadn't started at all. Skilling tasks will no longer start running until confirmation has been received from the server that the request was a success.
- Clan members no longer have to whitelist each other to send them items
- Max deputy leaders in clans raised from 3 to 5
- When selecting the default game mode on a new account, a popup will be displayed stating the alting rule and consequences of breaking that rule (if you've logged onto 3 or more accounts on your device)
- Modified the attack weaknesses of some monsters so that no 2 monsters share the same weakness in the same area
- Saved profiles texts were modified for clarity and a background added for consistency and better readability
- The "Task stats" popup should now use your local culture info for time/date estimations
- Ironman accounts can no longer delete their clans to prevent any accidents from happening there
- Ironman accounts can now send the whitelisted game shop items to other players, in case you accidentally purchase them on an ironman account or receive more of them than intended.
- Various, minor UI scaling related improvements
