3/8/2024 - '8th of March updates'

Backend update, chat improvements, small QoL features

This update is primarily to address some server issues since the last update. You'll need to update your game to be able connect to the game after the server restarts.

We've got a few small changes to go with it though!

New

• Combat styles now display the trained skills

- If you're unable to log into the game and are running on an old build, you'll now always be prompted to update. Previously, significant changes to the backend could result in the server not being able to tell you that an update is required, which happened during the previous update and caused a lot of confusion among users not actively following our Discord/Reddit etc

Chat

• The chat button has been removed from the sidebar menu. It now has its own more visible button at the top of the game (between Task stats and Shop buttons)

• When logging in to the game, you'll no longer be notified of messages you've already seen

• The "new messages" notification in chat is now hidden when you disconnect from the chat

• Fixed disconnecting from the chat showing an incorrect message

Bug fixes

• Fixed items not being selectable in the player shop listing popup if you had previously selected the item, until you clicked another item
