Clan bosses have arrived and they bring lucrative rewards!
New Clan Bosses
1. Malignant Spider
- No requirements to enter
- Drops:
- Skilling consumables for Crafting, Carpentry, Cooking and Plundering
- Low chance to drop a Quiver (low level cape item for archers)
- Shares offensive stats of T1 archery cape without offering anything extra
2. Skeleton Warrior
- Requirements:
- Clan must have killed each Valley of the God boss (excluding Kronos) 25 times
- Drops:
- Warrior's platelegs (first pair of legs with small strength bonus)
- Spiked shield (second shield with offensive melee bonuses)
- Outshined by Bulwark, but more affordable for newer players
- Otherworldly essence
- New defensive "ammunition" for use against Otherworldly golem
- Boosts defensive bonuses from equipment by 30% when fighting the golem
3. Otherworldly Golem
- Requirements:
- Clan must have at least 250 Kronos kills
- At least 2500 kills for every other Valley of the Gods boss
- Drops:
- Otherworldly gemstone
- Used to upgrade godlike weapons and tools to the next tier
- Otherworldly gemstone
Clan Boss Mechanics
- Can be started with any amount of members, up to your entire clan
- Members can join/leave fights at any time
- Bosses attack every clan member each turn
- Food consumption based on missing health
- Upgrades:
- Keep 'em coming
- Automatically restarts clan boss fights when the boss is taken down
- Cost: 5k credits
- Clan boss slayers
- Provides a permanent 10% damage boost against clan bosses for your clan
- Costs: Spider fang, Ancient bone and Golem fragment. These are obtained as very rare drops from the new bosses and need to be in the clan's vault to purchase the upgrade
- These items are sent directly to your clan's vault when dropped if it can hold them. Otherwise, they're added to the players inventory. If the player leaves or is kicked out of the clan, the items will be deleted from their inventory
- Keep 'em coming
- Kills recorded on player and clan leaderboards
- Clan records kill once regardless of party size
Otherworldly gemstone & items
- Otherworldly gemstone is dropped by Otherworldly golem
- Godlike tools and weapons can now be upgraded to Otherworldly. This has a level 105 crafting requirement and each upgrade requires 3 Otherworldly gemstones along with the godlike item you're upgrading
- Otherworldly tools have a 25% skilling speed boost, up from godlike's 20% boost
- Otherworldly weapons have much higher stats than their godlike counterparts but are still outshined by raid 1 weapons. However, when using them against quest monsters, they'll receive a 25% damage boost and offer BiS damage
Other smaller additions
- You can now view the stats and equipment of clan members in events by pressing the info button next to their names
- You can now view your clan's boss kills and raid completions by pressing the "PvM Stats" button in the clan landing page
- A button has been added to the loadouts popup that moves all your currently equipped items to the currently selected loadout
- You can now remove players from the "Previous" panel in the item send popup
- The Plundering pet info popup now has more information on the pets functionality
- The clan combat loot event now has a loot button where you can view the received loot at any time
- Some event UI was slightly realigned as a result
- Added a new section to settings for popups. Currently, it contains toggles for disabling the automatic presentation of regular and clan boss loot popups
Changes
- Bosses can now be killed whilst offline
- Similar to group combat elsewhere, if you log out during group combat, you'll be fighting against the boss solo when offline
- The boss fight won't automatically resume when logging back in
- Same as when bossing online, the "Boss slayer" upgrade is required to run keys back to back
- The KC requirement to be included in boss and raids leaderboards was reduced from 11 to 10 for regular players and completely removed for ironman players
- The current activity text in your profile is now bolded instead of coloured and truncated instead of scaled down
- Inviting your clan to events or boss fights will now invite everyone that's online regardless of what they're currently doing. Previously, invitations wouldn't be sent if they were already in any form of party
- There will now always be a confirmation popup when pressing these invitations
- Clan party invitations have a 15 second cooldown but this wasn't displayed client side in any way. You'll now be informed if you're sending invitations too often
- Infernal club's strength bonus was raised from 76 to 82 and accuracy from 72 to 78
- Guest accounts are no longer saved to leaderboards
- The raw superior meat dropped by monsters in the Lair of beasts was raised from 1 to 1-3
Bug fixes
- Fixed the clan vault not accepting more of items that were already in the vault if the vault was otherwise full
- Attempting to invite yourself to your group combat party will now give an error message rather than just an unresponsive loading screen
- Fixed an issue where you were be able to accept an application to your open combat lobby after the fight had already started
- Fixed an issue where you could accept a group combat party invitation from a party that you were already in, which would result in broken UI
- Fixed an issue causing you to be unable to talk in the clan chat of a recently joined clan until you relogged
- Fixed the clan deletion in-progress button not deactivating when leaving the clan that's awaiting deletion and joining a new one
- Fixed the "waiting for players to be ready" text becoming active in a group combat lobby when a member left the party even if you weren't the leader
- Fixed the "attack speed" and "weakness" texts going slightly out of bound on some resolutions (tablets) in the combat lobby view
- Fixed the "show password" text slightly overlapping with its toggle on some resolutions (tablets)
- Fixed protections against Kronos always flashing red when being attacked in group combat even if you were using the correct protection
- Fixed your items not sometimes being correctly loaded into solo combat (visual bug)
- The simulated/expected stats in the combat task stats popup are now automatically recalculated when you open the popup
- The item info tooltip in the loot popup (shown in combat and raids) and in group combat player entries is now always shown on the same spot and shouldn't flicker when being hovered
- The Leaderboard search and player market achievements are functional again
- The maximum daily boost time is now correctly capped at 16 hours. How the daily boosts work is now better clarified in the boost popup as well
- The "bypass ads" bar was removed from the shop's displayed premium membership benefits as the game no longer shows ads to anyone
- Fixed a desync where if you received more than one boss key at once without without having boss hunter unlocked, the server would correctly set the quantity to 1 but the client wouldn't and you'd get disconnected when interacting with the excess keys
- Fixed a bug with inventory item swaps during combat that could cause displayed food in the combat view to appear in the incorrect order
- Fixed received clan invitations whilst offline not loading correctly causing them not to be shown to you on log in
- Fixed an issue with some notifications where if you triggered multiple of them simultaneously, latter notifications wouldn't show up until the first one disappeared
- Hopefully fixed the login issues that occasionally affected a few select users for a finite amount of time
- Fixed an issue where if you were completing a task that had costs of more than 1 item, you could lose some of the required items without receiving the tasks reward if you had lost some of the task cost requirements during its completion. There were 2 issues here that were fixed. First, the server didn't check that you had all of the required items for a task before it started going through and removing them. Second, the server didn't instantly cancel a task if you could no longer afford it like the client did, causing a desync between the client and server
- Equipping loadouts was slightly laggy if you had an inventory sorting option toggled on. Should be faster now
- Fixed an issue where combat pets would receive experience for completed combat quests even if the skill you received experience in didn't match the pet's skill
- Fixed a visual issue where the Tier text of your combat pets in the inventory view would disappear when receiving pet experience until you re-entered the view
