Player to player item deliveries, game balance changes bug fixes & more

Updates

  • You're now able to send items to other players directly. This can be done from the item interaction popup from your inventory, the button is found right below the "Send to clan vault" button.
  • Offline time of clan members is now displayed. Note that it won't be be shown for current members until they log in after this update.
  • Potions button has been added to combat view

Changes

  • When logging out during group combat, your character will now start progressing in offline combat as if it were solo
  • The sell button in the item interaction popup is now red to draw extra attention to it to help prevent accidental item sales
  • All metal armour have had their stats reduced
  • Godlike gemstone drop rate has been dropped from 2% to 1%
  • Astronomical ore drop rate has been dropped from 5% to 2%
  • Superior and Outstanding gem droprates were decreased
  • Smelting magic upgrade will no longer work on Astronomical ore
  • Private messages can now be sent with the /dm prefix on top of /pm
  • Removed pickaxe from tutorial rewards
  • Cooking enchantment scrolls are back on the chest drop table menu (and will remain so, fixed the issue with database tools that caused the change to get overidden last time)
  • Login buttons are now uninteractable for a short amount of time after log outs to prevent too quick relogins that could potentially cause some weirdness in connection processes
  • Lots of time spent on backend improvements once again!

Fixes

  • Fixed Dodge chance being applied to the "Enemy hit chance" calculation incorrectly. Taking this space to clarify how Dodge works:
    • Your chance to dodge is the first thing processed when an enemy hits you. Let's consider a scenario where you have a 20% dodge chance and the enemy has a 75% chance to hit you. First, your odds to dodge are rolled. If you land within that 20%, you take 0 damage. If it fails, the rest of the enemy's damage calculations will be ran and you'll have a 25% chance to be hit a 0.
  • Another attempted fix for Linux & Proton users. Currently unable to properly test it myself, so please do let me know if it works.
  • Fixed combat offline progress not giving accurate results when using a potion of swiftness to reduce your attack speed. The modified attack speed wasn't factored in correctly and it was causing you to miss a lot of potential attacks during offline combat.
  • The "reconnect to chat" overlay will no longer show up after relogs if you were previously timed out, as you are no longer timed out at that point.
  • Fixed clan vault interactions closing active popups for everyone in the clan instead of just the player making those requests
  • Smelting magic is now applied to the material last time calculations in the Task stats popup
  • Hopefully fixed a rare issue where moving food in group combat could mess the fight up
  • Hopefully fixed a rare issue that has impacted a handful of users where your stats wouldn't be loaded onto your account correctly on login
  • Fixed private chats not being closeable from the X button
  • Fixed a client side issue causing you to get disconnected from the game when the server still recognized you as online, causing the "Account is already logged in" popup to appear when attempting to log back in.
  • Fixed an issue with Carpentry tasks not properly starting in situations where you had the Plank bargain upgrade unlocked but had less gold in your inventory than the base cost of the task Fixed an issue with daily boosts not properly resetting on date change if you were logged in at midnight server time
